Adopting A Pet Is Serious Business

If your Bearded Dragon is not eating, it’s not because he’s just not hungry. That’s only the case if you’re over-feeding your pet, and let’s assume you’ve learned the right amount of food and food choices to feed your pet beardie so we can diagnose the real issue causing the problem – anxiety!

Your frog will prefer the temperature to be between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a heat lamp or under-tank heater to maintain the temperature. Aim for about 80 degrees F. during the day, and no cooler than 70 degrees F. at night.

If you keep it a terrarium in your living space, then you need to ensure that you keep the beetles from escaping. You will want to prevent this no matter where you store them, but it’s especially important that they not be let loose in your home. They not only destroy shoes, but will cause damage to wood structures too.

The home that you provide for your bearded dragon should be of an adequate size. Never house a beardie that is more than 6 inches in length from the base of the tail to the nose in a Terrarium Singapore that less than ten gallons, if you plan on keeping more than one beardie they should never be housed together especially males as they will fight each other. Two females can be kept with one male but the more beardies you have in one terrarium larger the tank will have to be.

Another blooming requirement is bright light, but that doesn’t mean hours of direct summer sun. Too much direct sunlight can cause sunburn and scalding for orchids. Inside, you can experiment with windows, especially those facing south or you can use the Terrarium workshop or enclosure approach where you can place fluorescent lighting.

Stand – you’ll need a dedicated space for your tank that keeps your gecko elevated. This is especially important if there are children or other pets in the house.

Anole lizards make great pets, so get them off to a good start. Choose a healthy specimen that appears robust and active. Bring them directly home from the pet store and have their terrarium ready to go in advance. Finally, give them time to adapt to their new surroundings and get completely comfortable with their new home.
