Electric vehicles are simply a quick fix to the current system. Yes okay, we are all going to have to use less energy which could also arguably include using less plastic junk and being more rational with our everyday vehicle usage. But, electric vehicles are not the answer! Electric vehicle development still belongs in the laboratory and we need to find better ways to store and refuel electricity.
Gas prices are just going to keep on heading up. Road taxes for cars, motorbikes and other carbon emitting vehicles are also increasing as governments try to persuade commuters to be environmentally friendly.

But you’re asking why mention gas with bicycles? In the past, at least in the United States, gas prices were never a concern. Up until 2006 or so, Americans were able to buy gas for under $2.00 per gallon. That’s practically nothing! Two years later, it’s a different story.
It is obvious that bicycle manufacturers greatly outnumber electric bicycle manufacturers. So, there are more brands of bikes than e-bikes. Buying a conversion kit gives you a chance to choose any bike that suits your lifestyle.
Electric powered bikes make it easier to pedal long distances and uphill, increasing the stamina of your legs, quads, calves, and other core lower body muscles. Your endurance will also see increases and the fresh air will make you want to ride for hours on end, while being less fatigued.
Useful for hill climbing. Whether it is the summer heat or long distances, climbing hills can be a challenge. With a simple flick of a switch, the hill can soon be a pleasant memory.
